We exist to protect and serve the public interest.
We do this by setting standards for education, registration and practice, supporting registered nurses and nurse practitioners in meeting the standards and intervening when the standards are not met. NANB is a regulatory college mandated by the Nurses Act.

The Continuing Competence Program (CCP) is a regulatory requirement and serves to support nurses to determine their learning needs and examine their accountability as self-regulated professionals.
