Respect at Work: Understanding and Acting on Rights and Responsibilities

September 3 - 9, 2018 is Respectful Workplace Week. To highlight this important event, the Workplace Violence and Abuse Team of the Muriel McQueen Fergusson Centre for Family Violence Research is hosting its 6th annual public presentation series on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Delta Fredericton. 

This 1-day conference and workshop is offered as a no-charge public event and will focus on employer and employee rights and responsibilities and regulatory changes related to issues of abuse, domestic violence, and harassment at work. Presentations related to these topics will be facilitated by individuals from Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour, WorkSafeNB, the NB Human Rights Commission and Lawson Creamer Lawyers. An afternoon workshop will focus on difficult conversations in the workplace. See details below.
