- explaining how the Code of Conduct for Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners and Standards of Practice apply to your situation;
- helping guide decision-making through conversation and the application of resources;
- helping identify accountabilities; and
- referring to additional sources of information.
The goal is to help RNs/NPs access the resources and tools needed to make the best possible decisions to ensure safe, competent, compassionate and ethical nursing practice.
