For Internationally Educated Nurses

This section is for nurses educated and in all other countries.

Complete a competency assessment or mandatory courses

Option 1: CNNB will refer you to Inspire Global Assessments to complete a competency assessment. CNNB will review the results of your competency assessment and determine if you require any courses to bridge the gaps between your competencies and that of a Canadian educated Registered Nurse.

OR

Option 2: CNNB will Refer you to the New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) IEN Bridging (NB CRIB) Program. This includes all bridging courses and 160-hour Instructor-Led Clinical and 160-hour Preceptor-Led clinical.

CNNB will refer you to complete these courses as part of your application, you do not need to contact NBCC or CCNB until instructed to do so.
